Google has invested USD75 million

Google has invested USD75 million to build a wind power plant in Iowa. This step is carried out that search engine companies to encourage the development of cleaner energy sources and environmentally friendly.

The deal announced Thursday gives Google Inc shares, the Ripper Wind Farm in Greene County, where the RPM Access LLC is the principal owner of the company. Thus was launched from Gadgetndtv, Monday (19/11/2012).

Wind power is located 130 km northeast of Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is where one of the eight data centers for a number of Google services.

Iowa is a state of the United States (U.S.), a leader in developing wind power. In 2011, 18.8 percent of the country's electricity generation comes from the area.
